Each presentation was followed by breakout networking sessions on the topics covered.

Drawing on 20 years of built environment consultancy experience, Neil Walmsley from Arup shared his thoughts on the future of city planning including the integration of property, transport, infrastructure and public space with consideration for economic, social and environment sustainability and city resilience. 

Hear from Rob Hatcher at The Carbon Trust as he discussed the challenges faced by cities in a changing climate and how they can adapt and integrate low carbon strategies. His extensive experience with building, retrofitting, metering and monitoring renewable technology feasibility and installation helped to provide an insight into how cities can create climate action plans aligned to net zero targets. Rob also shared case studies of the work currently being carried out by Carbon Trust in Kuala Lumpur city, Malaysia.

Derek Murray from Mott MacDonald currently supports public and private infrastructure clients in the formation and implementation of their digital transformation strategies. During this webinar he looked at how emerging technologies are shaping the future of cities and why digital transformations are essential for the infrastructure and development sectors of the future.
