XWA Secondary Years Production
British Chamber members are warmly invited to attend XCL World Academy’s (XWA) Secondary Years production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
This visually striking re-imagining of the beloved classic has been created by XWA Secondary students and brings together storytelling, original music and contemporary theatre-making in a thoughtfully crafted production.
Production Highlights
- Contemporary theatre design and immersive stagecraft
- An original score composed by a student and performed by a student ensemble
- A large-scale Aslan puppet designed, built and operated by students
- A creative blend of classic literature and modern theatrical techniques
A Student-Led Experience
While guided by teachers, the production is largely student-led, with students taking on key roles across:
- Performance and ensemble work
- Music and choreography
- Stage management and backstage operations
- Technical production, costume and design
Together, these elements offer a meaningful glimpse into how creativity, collaboration and confidence are nurtured at XWA.
