Sri Lanka Tourism Webinar by Council for Business with Britain, Sri Lanka

The event is part of supporting the beleaguered tourism sector by showcasing tourism in Sri Lanka but with a focus on less well-known tourism opportunities such as wellness, wildlife, cuisine, nature and boutique properties. In particular, promoting tourism to the UK.

The event will be held online on Wednesday 2nd February starting at 09.30 UK time and is expected to last for 90 minutes. It will commence with a discussion between very highly regarded panellists, notably the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Tourism; the Chief Editor of Wanderlust magazine; a Travel Writer and influencer and the former President of The Hotel Association of Sri Lanka.  This will be followed by individual presentations on six different tourism opportunities as noted above.

We hope that this initiative will go some way to rebuilding tourism between the UK and Sri Lanka, to the benefit of both sides.
