BritCham Sector-focused Webinar: Future Cities of Vietnam

Vietnamese cities have been growing twice as fast as the national average rate and contributing over half of the country’s gross domestic product. As such, its urban centres now house 36.8% of the total population, compared to 19.6% in 1999, and that number is expected to reach 50% by 2040. The spontaneous nature of its urban development has led to challenges which create unique opportunities for smart city technologies.
Vietnam has implemented over 100 smart city projects over the past 5 years, with at least 30 more lined up in the near future.
The webinar is moderated by Mr. Matt Ryland – Executive Director, British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam
