Let’s celebrate Sake Day together here in Singapore with a toast!

October 1st marks “Sake Day” in Japan, the day when sake brewing begins using the freshly harvested rice of the year. In the sake world, it is considered a celebratory occasion—like New Year’s Day for sake.

Dinner Event Highlights

• All-you-can-drink sake, paired with a buffet selection designed to complement it.
• Purchase Japanese products, including sake, at the venue (cash or PayNow accepted).
• Be entertained by a live professional taiko drum performance.
• Connect with Japan via a live stream and raise a glass together!

Event Schedule

• 6:30 PM - Doors open (soft drinks, coffee, tea, beer available)
• 7:00 PM - Opening / Taiko drum performance
• 7:15 PM - Welcome introduction (about Sake Day)
• 7:20 PM - Organizer’s speech (about the KANPAI event) / Group toast
• 8:00 PM - Live stream with Japan & toast
• 9:00 PM - Lucky draw
• 10:00 PM - Event closes (traditional “ippon-jime” hand clap)
