Webinar

Effective communication is as essential for any business and their leaders as it is a complex subject, specially when working in a multicultural environment.

On this engaging webinar and with the help of Evelien Verschroeven, an educator and corporate coach with over 20 years of experience; we will dive deeper on the elements of good intercultural communication, providing relatable examples both at the workplace and everyday life.

We will also overview key general behaviour and cultural differences between co-workers that could cause conflict and misunderstandings such as between collectivistic and individualistic cultures, and hierarchical and non-hierarchical cultures.

The objective is to “close the gap” and improve your own cultural maturity. As Evelien says “Wisdom only arises when we combine knowledge with experience through interaction”.

Who are we?

DooDiversity, powered by FilmDoo, actually started out as a global online film streaming platform, helping people find and watch feature films and shorts from all over the World covering 83 countries and 35 languages.

We have spent the past 2 years developing software that works on top of video and film content to create interactive courses that can be used by businesses, schools and teachers.

In 2019, we had discussions and pilots with large corporations such as the BBC and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and the government-funded Language Flagship Program that provides language programs to universities across the United States.

Since the pandemic, we have been working hard to help schools and teachers here in the UK maintain student progress both in-school and remotely, using our interactive video tool. We have also been working closely with international companies, providing bespoke Diversity & Inclusion packages for their ongoing employee training, making a better working environment for everyone.

Our software enables instructors, coaches, teachers and, in fact any educators to turn any film or video into fun, interactive learning content. By using visual media as the basis for multiple-choice games, quizzes and tests - personalised to suit the learner’s needs - we allow the learner to engage with the lesson in a way that connects with their interests and feels like a natural extension of their typical media viewing habits. In short, it makes learning fun!

Enjoy the event.
