Five Years, Fantabulously Firangi

Five years ago, we set off in search of a rather different kind of Indian dining experience.

We had a few ideas, several oversized trunks and absolutely no intention of taking the most direct route.

Somehow, we ended up here.

Along the way, there were spices from far-flung places, cocktails with questionable intentions, curious characters, unexpected detours and enough stories to fill several passports.

Now, Firangi Superstar turns five.

Naturally, we’re celebrating by inviting someone else into the luggage.

For two nights only, Chef Thav of Michelin-starred 80/20 Bangkok is joining us for a four-course sharing feast that takes a few liberties with geography.

Thailand meets India.
India meets Thailand.
And somewhere in between, things get deliciously confused.
