Discover North London Collegiate School (Singapore): A British educational tradition with a modern outlook
Founded in London in 1850, North London Collegiate School has a long tradition of academic ambition, intellectual curiosity and educating students as individuals. Today, that heritage continues at North London Collegiate School (Singapore), which welcomes students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12.
At the heart of the School is Joyful Scholarship: the belief that learning should be intellectually exciting. It is about encouraging students to ask questions, think deeply, explore ideas and develop a genuine enjoyment of learning, rather than simply learning for examinations.
This sits alongside Positive Education, which looks beyond academic achievement to support students in achieving and flourishing. Through strong relationships, meaningful experiences, engagement and a sense of accomplishment, students are encouraged to develop the confidence and resilience to make the most of their education.
With the International Baccalaureate at the centre of the Senior School academic programme, alongside an extensive range of opportunities in music, sport, the arts, leadership and innovation, students are encouraged to discover where their own interests and ambitions can take them.
If you are considering an international school for your child, we would be delighted to welcome you to NLCS (Singapore) and share more about our approach to education.
