Cross-border trade in counterfeit goods

The UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO UK) recently engaged British IP firm Rouse to study the cross-border trade in counterfeit goods between China and South East Asia (SE Asia), focusing on branded consumer goods industries in which the UK leads. This updates a similar 2015 report and covers developments in routes, the impact of e-commerce growth, the COVID-19 pandemic, and changing patterns in the SE Asian counterfeit trade. During the webinar, we will review the IP landscape in China and SE Asia as well as introduce and discuss the findings of the report.
