Executive search is the basis of our business. Our approach from the beginning has been to adopt a highly collaborative and authentic approach to putting clients first with an unwavering focus on quality.

Our consultants work in partnership with our clients, providing objective judgements on recruiting world class leaders who will make a sustainable impact on their businesses. We assemble the best team for each search assignment including a lead consultant with deep rooted expertise to support the search and a dedicated research associate. The team spends a significant amount of time with you understanding your business, the requirement, your culture and purpose and challenging your organisation and brief when appropriate. We ensure you are able to thoroughly monitor our progress through regular and open dialogue. As an extension of your organisation we evaluate candidates thoroughly against your needs. We proactively communicate with the candidates throughout the process, objectively managing their expectations as your trusted advisor. At the references stage we speak to a wide array of referees ensuring thorough verification of candidates’ credentials. Once appointed, we spend time with you and the candidate to ensure an effective on-boarding and integration process. We also follow-up regularly with both client and candidate to ensure things are going smoothly.

Board Assessment

Eric Salmon & Partners has a long history of helping boards and organisations review their procedural and behavioural effectiveness, with the aim of proposing continuous improvement to achieve excellent and sustainable governance practices. Our customised approach is based on our well-established proprietary methodological tools. The approach is agreed with our clients and takes into account the board’s requirements and characteristics and adheres to their governance code and legal duties. We analyse the whole set of governance elements thoroughly, starting from an understanding of the company’s strategic direction and assessing key factors influencing and determining board dynamics. These include culture and values, composition, leadership, flow and quality of documentation, communication and teamwork, involvement in strategy development, succession plans, risk appetite and management and committees’ effectiveness and composition.
