Moonlit Garden Mooncake

Enter Crowne Plaza Changi Airport’s celestial Moonlit Garden, where the Jade Rabbit toils tirelessly under the glow of the moonlight, crafting exquisite mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Surrounded by flourishing fauna and shimmering herbs, he guards a mystical trunk filled with precious ingredients to bake into these magical festive treats. 

Inspired by the vibrant flavours and colours of fruits in the forest, the Assorted Snow Skin ($84) collection features a combination of berries and juicy tropical fruit flavours. Available in an assorted box of four, the Strawberry Milk and Low Sugar Mixed Berries bring a bright yet mild sweetness while with dried berries speckled through the lotus paste, while the Lychee offers familiar juicy notes that are balanced when paired with the zesty Pomelo with Lemon and Dried Pineapple. The Assorted Snow Skin mooncakes and their lush warm hues are complemented by the Garden Ruby box and its beautiful deep red exterior with blush pink drawers.

Making its first appearance this year’s snow skin collection is the Premium Musang King Durian Snow Skin Mooncake ($84). Locked away in the special air-tight section of the Jade Rabbit’s mystical trunk, this is the first time Crowne Plaza Changi Airport’s experiments with this iconic flavour in their mooncake lineup. Experience it first hand and possibly add it to a list of your favourite durian desserts. This limited release flavour is presented in the Midnight Jade box with blush pink drawers, reminiscent of their intense exterior and delicate insides.

Following time-honoured customs, the Traditional Baked collection returns with the classic options of White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk ($82), White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk ($84), Low-sugar White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts ($82) and Mixed Nuts ($84). The traditional baked mooncakes are available in an Assorted Baked ($84), or with one flavour each or by flavour, in boxes of four. The Assorted Baked mooncakes come in the Midnight Jade and single flavour mooncakes in the Garden Ruby boxes – these jewel-toned cases are embellished with a miniature plane handle on each drawer that opens to reveal each individual packaged Mooncake.
