Senior Account Director
The Role
The Senior Account Director role is critical to our success and growth, and pivotal in establishing and building our reputation in APAC. The core responsibility is to create strong, long-lasting relationships with senior clients, driving revenue and generating inspiring opportunities for the agency. It is also to drive and establish new business opportunities across the region.
Instigating and adhering to comprehensive processes, generating clear briefings, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining creative excellence and commercial rigour, the Senior AD has the ability to make the most of all the opportunities we have, both creatively and commercially.
As an experienced Account Director in APAC, you will have proven experience of managing content projects across APAC, building long-lasting client relationships and business development experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
External
Build long-term strategic relationships with senior clients to drive great relationships and organic growth
Work on developing clear and detailed strategies, developing client business plans and seeking new opportunities for organic growth
Become the most trusted and valuable go-to person with our highest level clients
Ensure all creative and client communication are of the highest possible quality
Exceptional attention to detail is key for maintaining our standards of creative output and communication
Identify new business opportunities with fresh prospects, lead successful new business drives and embed new clients/projects into the team seamlessly
Maintain and grow our agency reputation
Internal
Responsible for setting the tone for the team, motivating and managing the shape of the team in line with our clients and future opportunities
Structure and evolve the team to ensure best in class management of our clients
Set and monitor quarterly team and team member KPIs including annual performance reviews
Mentor team members in line with agency beliefs, values and processes
Assess and organise team/individual training
Create account growth plans for all major clients
Identify new services that we can develop for our clients
Financial accountability for all client relationships ensuring our billing and profit ratio are in line with agency expectations
Working alongside the MD, accurately forecast short-term predicted revenue over the next 6 month as well as long range targets
Identify and nurture award winning opportunities and help package award entries
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in, and a passion for, leading and developing client relationships through great strategic and creative vision
In depth understanding of client communications channels and types of content, with proven ability to develop detailed strategies and delivery approach to achieve agreed commercial goals
Proven results setting and achieving measures of success across all clients and agency teams
Dedication to work closely with, and develop respectful, productive and enjoyable relationships with colleagues in the wider distillery team
Impeccable client facing skills and experience managing conflicts/negotiating with clients at a senior level
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of financial management
Proactive, with the ability to make decisions
Ability to remain measured and calm and demonstrate maturity under pressure
Detailed oriented with proven, process driven project management skills
Highly motivated and enthusiastic
Ability to manage/mentor teams, both internally and externally
