Making Progress in Inclusion & Equality

One year on from our inaugural Diversity and Inclusion advocates poll, the latest results show companies moving down the scale in inclusiveness, highlighting that there is plenty of work still to be done in raising awareness and best practice for equality in the workplace.

There is less senior-level support for D&I policy changes reported, potentially due to the nature of shifting priorities in present times, but nonetheless important to note as management buy-in of these issues is a critical first step in making progress.

This year's survey, created by our Diversity and Inclusion committee and with the support of our Official D&I Partner Barclays, took a closer look at support for LGBT+ employees, an issue which we recently addressed in Ep34 of our podcast. The committee is planning to provide resources and an event on the business case for Pride networks and LGBT+ support later this year, and into 2021.
