Our Malaysia team has been recognised with two awards at the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC)’s 60th Anniversary Gala and 4th Annual Business Excellence Awards Dinner 2023.
- Technology & Innovation Award – Winner
- Diversity & Inclusion Award – Second Runner-Up
In recognition of our exceptional performance and professional excellence, BMCC has awarded the Technology and Innovation Award to Mott MacDonald Malaysia, for successfully developing new solutions by applying digital, innovative, and disruptive technologies to increase efficiencies and contribute to Malaysia’s productivity, paving the way towards technological enhancement. The team has demonstrated outstanding achievements in adopting environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and ultimately contributing significantly towards the environment and communities, as well as advocating for these initiatives within the industry, supply chains and clients.
The team in Malaysia was also awarded second runner-up for the Diversity and Inclusion Award. This award recognising organisations across all industries that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to fostering the spirit of diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

The ceremony held at St Regis Kuala Lumpur was graced by Investment, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Liew Chin Tong, British High Commissioner to Malaysia Charles Hay, and UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Malaysia Richard Graham.
The event provided a remarkable opportunity to reflect on the BMCCs journey, highlighting the remarkable progress made in advancing UK-Malaysia Business Excellence.
