Head, School of Business and Law

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational Management:
- Responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operational management of the School of Business & Law.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new programs to enhance the school's academic offerings.
Program Development and Delivery:
- Â Manage the development of innovative educational programs.
- Oversee the delivery and teaching of programs to ensure high quality education.
- Develop and review instructional materials for relevance and effectiveness.
Staff Management:
- Â Lead and direct the academic team, including managing the activities of academic coordinators and overseeing lecturers' performance.
 - Review teaching methods and provide coaching/mentoring to lecturers for continuous improvement.
Student Affairs:
- Â Take responsibility for student matters, including induction, learning experience, cocurricular activities, exam preparation, and monitoring student passing/satisfaction rates.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with CPE (Council for Private Education) requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for continuous improvement.
Financial Planning:
Plan and manage the finances necessary for the department to execute its duties effectively.
Additional Responsibilities:
Undertake any other duties assigned by the Director, Academic and Academic Services.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Â Candidate must possess at least a Doctorate (PhD) in Business, Education, or equivalent.
- Â PhD candidates who are interested may also apply.
Experience:
- Â Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a Private Education Institution (PEI) is required for this position.
- Previous teaching and material development experience is essential.
- Knowledge of CPE requirement is necessary.
- Experience in managing or serving as a deputy in an academic department.
- Proven experience in leading and managing academic teams.
