Young Musician of the Year 2026 – Celebrating Musical Excellence at NLCS (Singapore)

The Young Musician of the Year 2026 competition offers an exceptional platform for aspiring young performers to shine. Open to instrumentalists across four age categories, the competition recognises musical growth and artistry at every stage of development.

Participants will begin their journey with video submissions before progressing to live heats in April 2026, culminating in a prestigious Gala Final where finalists will perform with the NLCS Camerata Orchestra.

The competition welcomes performers of violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, and trumpet. Trophies and prizes will be awarded, including the coveted title of NLCS (Singapore) Young Musician of the Year 2026.
