Beyond acting, students from the BTEC Business Programme also excelled in public speaking. Gordavan and Francisco earned Silver Awards with Distinction, while Leon achieved his Grade 6 Bronze Award with Distinction. This recognition demonstrates the value of drama in complementing business studies, equipping students with confidence, clarity, and persuasive communication skills that will support them in both education and the workplace.

Reflecting on the results, DCIS Principal Christopher Short remarked:
“It was wonderful to be present as the DCIS Drama team presented these certificates. You could see the pride on the students' faces as they received recognition for their hard work. Drama is such an important life skill, as it provides the confidence and techniques for people to use well beyond the stage, managing meetings and delivering presentations in their further studies and careers. I am grateful to the Drama team for preparing our students for these globally recognised qualifications.”

Through LAMDA, students have developed lifelong skills such as confident communication, effective presentation, creative thinking, teamwork, and adaptability under pressure.

At Dover Court International School in Singapore, the programme offers students opportunities to enhance their creativity, confidence, and communication skills while earning qualifications that strengthen applications for higher education and future employment.

The entire 2025 cohort has demonstrated excellence and inspired those around them, setting a shining example of achievement with grace and distinction.
