Announcements for proposed UK–Indonesia Strategic Partnership Launch – September 2025

I am pleased to inform you that the Governments of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Indonesia, are working towards establishing a new Strategic Partnership to elevate their relationship. President Prabowo Subianto will be visiting the UK in September this year to sign the agreement with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
This landmark agreement will provide a comprehensive framework for expanding cooperation across trade, investment, innovation, sustainability, and security—demonstrating our shared commitment to deepening economic ties and growing the pipeline of opportunities for UK and Indonesian businesses.

A key component underpinning the Strategic Partnership and the President’s visit to the UK, is a portfolio of commercial deliverables, which could include contracts, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and Letters of Intent (LOIs) or similar between UK and Indonesian entities. We would like to invite your company to be part of this occasion.

If you are currently exploring or concluding any agreements with partners in Indonesia or the UK—whether in trade, investment, innovation, sustainability, or other areas, we would welcome the opportunity to showcase your partnership as an announcement under this Strategic Partnership.
