The British Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee oversees and steers the business of the Chamber and ensure objectives and budgets are set and met.

Bicky Bhangu
Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte. Ltd.
Dr Bicky Bhangu is Regional Director South East Asia & Pacific at Rolls-Royce. He has been with Rolls-Royce since 2007 initially based in UK and subsequently moved to Singapore in 2009. Bicky is the Chairman of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET), Engineering Fellow of the IET and a Chartered Engineer. He is the Chairman for IET Singapore Network. Bicky served as the Chairman for Aerospace Industry Skills and Training Council (ISTC) supporting Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to oversee the skills development for the Singapore aerospace industry (2013 – 2015). He is serving the Singapore Maritime Port Authority (MPA) as select committee member for R&D investment in green port technologies.

Bicky has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield and an MBA in Technology Management. Bicky is an Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Damian Adams
Simmons & Simmons
Damian Adams has been based in Singapore since 2000 and is a corporate partner of world-class international law firm Simmons & Simmons. He specialises in advising companies and funds on cross-border investments, M&A, joint ventures and commercial transactions, with particular experience in the mining, oil & gas, shipping and offshore energy sectors. He also advises in relation to the sale and trading of commodities. Damian has been involved with BritCham during much of his time in Singapore, having variously coordinated the young professionals group within BritCham (then known as BritPack), served on the Board and, since 2012, as a member of the Executive Committee, serving first as Secretary of the Chamber and more recently as one of its Vice Presidents. Damian also chairs the membership committee.

Sian Brown
Barclays PLC
Sian Brown is the Head of Chief Controls Office, Asia Pacific at Barclays Investment Bank. Sian has 20 years of change management and leadership experience within Investment Banking across Asia, Europe and North America.

Her banking career began in London in 1997 with Credit Suisse. Sian moved to Japan in 2006 with RBS to build the FI and Equities businesses, later transferring to Hong Kong to manage the ABN Integration, before moving to Singapore in 2010 to build out a Business Change team before moving into her current role with Barclays in early 2015.

Sian holds a BSc degree in Computing and Accounting and is CIMA qualified. She is married with 2 young sons.
Cecilia Handel
Tanglin Trust School
Cecilia Handel is Director of Development at Tanglin Trust School Singapore and is responsible for inward investment at the school. She is both a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds Qualified Teacher Status. After a brief teaching career in London, she trained as a chartered accountant at KPMG London. Cecilia moved to the audit practice of KPMG Auckland, New Zealand in 2006. She worked in PwC’s advisory business for four years on arrival in Singapore and moved to Tanglin Trust School in 2010.
Veronica McCann
Manulife US Real Estate Mgmt Pte Ltd
Veronica McCann is a senior financial executive with over twenty-four years’ experience in the finance sector of the Asia Pacific Region. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Manulife US Real Estate Management Pte Ltd serving on the Board, Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Having a track record of leading organizational change and managing complex financial and regulatory risks during periods of rapid expansion and restructuring, Veronica was most recently CFO Asia and Deputy Chief Executive, Singapore up to 2015 at Commerzbank AG.

Veronica is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Accountants, a member of the Chartered Global Management Accountants and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Richard Warburton
Richard Warburton is Executive Director, Head of Financial Institutions, Asia Pacific for Arcadis Asia. He has been with Arcadis since 1994, initially based in London and subsequently in Hungary, Dubai and Singapore where he has been based since 2009.

Richard was elected to the Board of the Chamber in 2014 and has served on the Executive Committee since 2015. He is also Chair of the Business Groups Committee and was previously Chair of the Property and Construction Group between 2012 and 2015.
