Prakash is a seasoned Corporate and Institutional Banker who leads the Resources and South
Asia client coverage under the Banks Global Subsidiaries team, based Singapore. This comprises
of coverage of companies in Energy, Metals & Mining Independent Traders, Agribusinesses as
well as large South Asian Conglomerates.

In addition to this, Prakash also sits on the Bank’s global Commodity Traders & Agribusiness
management team and champions this industry cluster in ASEAN. As a part of this role, Prakash
is involved in driving the strategy of the Bank in this Industry as well as is involved in several
industry initiatives such as SGTraDex.

Prakash has over 17 years of corporate and institutional banking experience, all with Standard
Chartered, covering a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Commodity Traders
and Agribusiness, Oil & Gas and Metals and Mining.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Prakash graduated from The University of Texas at Austin
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Economics. He is a
proud Texas Longhorn.
