British Theatre Playhouse publishes fundraising Christmas book 'Covi, the little Christmas dinosaur'

During the inevitable down time caused by Covid for the arts and entertainment sector, founder of the British Theatre Playhouse, Cecilia Leong-Faulkner, has used her time to publish a Christmas book for children, with fifty pence for every book sold going to charity.

Featured in "Covi, the little Christmas dinosaur" is a real hero, seven-year-old Harmonie-Rose Allen, the first junior ambassador of a charity dedicated to fighting meningitis. Harmonie-Rose contracted meningococcal septicaemia as a baby and was given a 10% chance of survival. She lost all her limbs to the disease and has gone on to defy all the odds - she doesn't let anything hold her back and will represent Great Britain in gymnastics.

It is fitting the British Theatre Playhouse will donate fifty pence for every book sold to the chosen charity of Harmonie-Rose, which is the Combe Down Primary School fundraising programme to support building their library of books and redeveloping their forest school.

The e-Book is available for pre-order on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P28SB9W?ref_=pe_3052080_276849420. The paperback edition will be sold at the Shop at The British Club from 12 December onwards.
