BritCham COVID-19 Policies

In light of increased precautionary measures from the Government, we would like to reassure you of the steps the Chamber has put in place to protect the wellbeing of our members, guests and staff.

As a channel of communications trusted by the local authorities we will continue to share the latest advice for businesses, including Business Continuity Plan recommendations. Please monitor www.britcham.org.sg/news/coronavirus-advisory for the latest updates to assist you with your planning.

Our office and team

Our office remains open for business, albeit we are being flexible with staff working from home where they need to/in split shifts. Given the number of visitors to the Chamber offices, we are also implementing a process for all staff, checking their temperature twice a day as directed by the MOH and monitoring any symptoms that require them to remain at home or visit a medical professional. Please do your part by not attending meetings at our office if any of the following applies to you. Our team will be happy to provide conference call details as an alternative.

  • you have travelled from any of the MOH restricted countries/regions within the past 14 days,
  • you have been in direct contact with anyone who has travelled from any of the MOH restricted countries/regions in the same period,
  • you have any symptoms such as a runny nose, respiratory problems, a cough or you are feeling unwell.

Our events

We are continually reviewing our plans and our team will be in contact should there be any changes to an event you have already registered for. At events which proceed we will be taking the temperature of attendees and providing hand sanitiser or alternatives. Again, please do your part by not attending an event if any of the above restrictions apply to you.

Your input

As COVID-19 continues to impact the operations of businesses, the Chamber is keen to hear about the effects on our members, what help and support you would find most useful, and what we should be saying to Government on your behalf. If you would like to share your experiences and feedback please respond to info@britcham.org.sg

As we are all still learning about the virus, please remain vigilant and monitor your health closely. Per the general advice of international and local health authorities to the public, should you experience symptoms please seek the guidance of a medical professional. We care about your wellbeing and appreciate any concerns you may have. We hope the above information helps to provide you with a better understanding of the situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
