Bringing Mindfulness into the Workplace

In this 90-minute mindfulness session, Mindfulness Coach and Qualified MBSR Teacher, Erin Lee, will introduce participants to the foundations of mindfulness and how mindfulness skills can be an important asset in any organisation. Designed for employees of all levels in the organisation, this session will cover the crucial role of sustaining present moment awareness to gain insights into the common grounds of unconstructive thoughts, emotions and behaviours, as well as stress-inducing patterns that contribute to personal effectiveness, productivity and well-being. Participants will engage in bite-sized mindfulness practices and discover through direct experience and practical examples how to easily incorporate mindfulness into their time at work and in daily life, so as improve their overall well-being. 
 
What participants will learn and how they will benefit:
  • The common misconceptions about mindfulness, and what mindfulness is and isn’t
  • Research-based benefits of mindfulness
  • Opening up of the senses to experience present-moment awareness
  • What happens when the mind is constantly in the past and future
  • Awareness of autopilot, stress reactions and behaviours
  • Experience of basic mindfulness practices and skills 
 
 

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

 
Erin Lee is the Founder and Mindfulness Coach of Mindful Moments Singapore. She is a mindfulness practitioner and advocate of mindfulness as a way of life. It is her personal vision to help more and more people learn mindfulness skills and incorporate mindfulness practice into their daily lives to improve their well-being. 
 
Erin is a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher as recognized by the Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Center for Mindfulness. Erin has completed the UCSD School of Medicine's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher Training Intensive as well as Advanced Teacher Training Intensive for MBSR and MBCT Teachers in California. Erin is also an experienced Polytechnic Lecturer-Facilitator, as well as an established Certified Hypnotherapist, HypnoCoach® and Master NLP Practitioner.
