Start-up Series: B2B Sales in Asia

As new businesses kick off, filled with dreams of success and glory, the harsh realization of the day to day churn it takes to run a modern business can sometimes be overwhelming. Legal, financial, operational, resource management and marketing all need to be addressed carefully, and often business owners do not have the key skill sets to get these things right. The goal of this series is to guide SME’s to all the available resources, both public and private, which can assist companies to fulfil their visions as sustainable going concerns. Keep a look out for more events in this series!

A well-defined and structured approach to B2B sales can help your sales team develop a high valued pipeline and qualification process to identify the best sales opportunities. Once these opportunities are identified, your team can utilise B2B Sales customer engagement tools and processes to prepare focused customer conversations and create differentiated value-added proposals to secure profitable business. For more complex and larger sales, the B2B processes can also guide your sales team in preparing winning sales strategies with actionable tactics to position your offer.

On 18th May, attendees were engaged in an entertaining session with JP Amlin on Business to Business Professional Sales in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world. JP presented on B2B sales methodology processes, tools and examples of how the B2B Professional Sales approach can benefit companies in Asian markets. The presentation also helped to identify what your sales teams are currently doing well, as well as areas for improvement.
