Bicky Bhangu
Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte. Ltd.
Dr Bicky Bhangu is President, South East Asia, Pacific & South Korea at Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte Ltd. and is responsible for the country strategy, external relations and governance of the operational platform across business, functions and sites.

Bicky is Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET) and a Chartered Engineer. He is the Chairman for IET Singapore Network. He is on the steering committee for the IET Aerospace Technical Professional Network (TPN) and exec member of IET Communities Committee Asia Pacific representing Singapore.

Bicky has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield and an MBA in Technology Management. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University.

Scott Wightman
British High Commission
His Excellency Scott Wightman is the British High Commissioner to Singapore, taking up this post in May 2015. Scott began his career in the Diplomatic Service in 1983 and has worked in the British Embassies in Beijing, Paris, Rome and, most recently, in the Republic of Korea, where he was the UK ambassador. Scott’s ties with Asia continued during his tenure as Director for the Asia Pacific region in the FCO from 2008 to 2010.Scott is from Edinburgh in Scotland and has a degree in French from the University of Edinburgh.

Christopher Pook
British High Commission
As of September 2015, Chris has been the Regional Director for UK Trade and Investment and the FCO Prosperity Network in South East Asia at the British High Commission, Singapore. Chris has worked for the UK government since 1993, holding a variety of posts in the Department for Business, often with a strong technology and innovation element. He worked for successive trade, energy and employment Ministers for two years before going to BG plc on secondment for two years to support international business development. Chris was posted to the British Embassies in Washington and Tokyo where he worked as Science Counsellor.

John Laws has been with Barclays since 2009 with over 20 years senior leadership experience in financial services. He acts as a primary point of contact and escalation with regional regulatory bodies, focusing on engagement and partnering with Barclays businesses and infrastructure to ensure a coordinated response regionally to key developments. Working with critical regulatory and legislative developments, he liaises with stakeholders to establish implementation and market issues to bring to the attention of regulators and industry associations.

Tim Rockell
Tim Rockell relocated to Singapore to launch the KPMG Global Energy Institute for Asia Pacific in November 2012. He has extensive experience of emerging markets. He was based with KPMG in the Middle East from 2005-2012 where he focused on Energy clients, particularly in Saudi Arabia. Previously he was based in KPMG’s London office as the Global Energy & Natural Resources Sector, Executive Director.
