Nella Goodarzi

Nella is the Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, at Barclays International. She is based in Singapore and is a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Nella joined Barclays in 2010. Prior to her current position, she held various roles in client strategy, corporate development and Executive offices in London, New York and Hong Kong. Her experience extends across the Investment Bank, Wealth and Investment Management, and Barclays Group.

Before joining Barclays, Nella practiced as a Chartered Accountant for four years, focusing on M&A advisory services.

Previously, Lucy spent 12 years working for CIBT, a multinational company servicing the travel industry with visa information and processing support. During this time she held various senior executive positions and relocated to Singapore from the UK 5 years ago to champion the company’s expansion into the Asia region.

Stephen Trevis is a Managing Director, and has headed up the Legal team in Singapore since February 2007. This team provides support across the region for the following: Markets businesses within the Investment Bank, Unregulated Debt and Leveraged Finance, Derivatives Master Documentation, Barclays Wealth, Barclays Corporate, Commercial Contracts, Company Secretarial and Sourcing.

Prior to joining Barclays, he worked at Standard Chartered from 2003-2007, Deutsche Bank from 1997 to 2003 and Clifford Chance in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong from 1992-1997. His background is primarily in structured products and loans, with a particular focus on emerging markets.

Simon started his career in shipping sea in 1974 as a Navigating Officer Cadet. After several voyages as ship’s Master, in 1991 he came ashore, working variously as HSE, Country, Marketing and Project Manager worldwide, before taking up his present role as GM for Sustainable Development 6 years ago. He has a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Science from UEA in Norwich and has been with the Swire group for over 30 years. He has lived in Singapore for a total of 16 yearsand has a passion for promoting all areas of diversity, inclusion, equality and fairness.

Prior to his current role, Jeremy served as Global Human Resources Business Partner for Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management’s Active and Passive Investment Management businesses, and Head of HR DeAWM Investmentgruppe, based in Frankfurt Previously, Jeremy held served as Head of Talent Acquisition for Asia Pacific based in Singapore, and had held various roles in Professional and Graduate Recruiting. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he worked in executive search, focusing on recruitment of wealth and asset management professionals in the UK and Europe Bachelor's Degree from Durham University; Master's Degree from University of Leicester

Dr Arun Dev, a Naval Architect, Marine and Offshore Engineer by profession, has over 20 years of experiences in the marine and offshore industry mainly in Singapore. Dr. Arun Dev received his BSc(Eng) in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering followed by an MSc by research in Marine (Offshore) Technology from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK and then obtained his PhD from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands in 1996. He has worked in Keppel Group as various positions finally as DGM of Keppel Singmarine and GM of Marine Technology Development. Apart from industry experiences, Dr Dev has academic and research skills at Universities. He is now working as an Associate Professor, Newcastle University in Singapore. Dr Arun Dev is a Fellow of (RINA), Fellow of (IMarEST), Fellow of (EI) and Member of (SNAME). Dr Dev has published close to 100 technical papers in various international conferences, seminars, journals, etc. Dr Dev believes firmly in the importance of diversity, equality and fairness.

Colin Ho is a senior manager within the structured finance most of world team (EMEA and Asia Pacific) located in Singapore. He has had extensive structured finance experience in the areas of corporate, project and asset finance, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investment evaluation in the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining BP, Colin has had a number of years experience in the corporate banking and project finance space within various regional banks. Colin has an MBA (finance specialisation) from the National University of Singapore and graduated from the University of Melbourne with a bachelor of commerce (second class upper honours). Colin is a firm believer of diversity and inclusion for all with mutual respect as its core foundation

Amanda Teoh is a senior associate in the asset finance team in Singapore, specialising in aviation leasing and financing. Amanda is admitted as a solicitor in Australia and New Zealand. She is a member of the firm's CSR committee and has a strong interest in social justice, particularly access to education. Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Amanda worked as a solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney and as tipstaff and researcher to the President of the NSW Court of Appeal.

Benedict is the Communications Manager with the British High Commission. He has a range of interests in community issues that include advocating for LGBT and Human Rights as well as serving on the management board of Action for AIDS as its Honorary Secretary. He has a keen interest in diversity and inclusion policy, believing strongly that employers must practice what they preach.

Joe is a young professional who has broad experience in retail, marketing, purchasing, advertising and business development. He currently works at the Professional Development Centre at the British Council supporting a range of clients with their learning and development needs in both the private and public sectors. He is also the diversity lead for the country heading up a team that organise events for staff as well as making sure that diversity is mainstreamed across the business. Joe has previously worked in Amsterdam and London.

Saskia Van Dijk is the HR Director for Asia Pacific at Control Risks, a specialised risk consultancy that helps clients build secure, compliant and resilient organisations. Before joining Control Risks, Saskia worked in HR in the Financial Services sector in both the UK and Singapore. With her global work experience and her international upbringing, Saskia is interested in cultural intelligence, third culture kids and a more inclusive and diverse workforce. In Saskia's free time she also volunteers for UN Women in Singapore, the UN organisation dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Tamsin qualified as a teacher of English in 2003, specialising in teaching English as an Additional Language. She holds a Master Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of London and has over 16 years of multi-phase teaching experience with primary, secondary and adult learners. In addition to her classroom teaching, Tamsin has previously held positions of senior-level pastoral and academic responsibilities. She is involved with several teaching, cultural and volunteering organisations and committees. Her multicultural experiences started early when she moved from Asia to the UK at a young age. She has lived in London, studied at Beijing University as part of her Undergraduate studies and worked in Washington DC. Tamsin arrived at in Singapore in 2016 where inclusion and diversity is everyday practice at her international school.
