Shivkumar (Shiv) Seerapu is the CEO for Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets in Asia since September 2018. Shiv joined Lloyds bank from Deutsche Bank in August 2017 as the Head of Global Transaction Banking for Asia. Shiv has 22 years of experience in the Transaction Banking space in Asia. He started his banking career with ANZ Grindlays Bank in Mumbai, India in 1996 as a Management Trainee. Between 1996 and 2000, he did various roles in Trade Finance across operations, advisory and sales. Subsequent to Standard Chartered Bank’s (SCB) acquisition of Grindlays in 2000, Shiv became the Trade Finance Product Head for India for the combined bank where among other things, he was responsible for developing the supply chain suite of products. In 2004, Shiv moved to Singapore as the Global Product Head for supply chain finance for SCB and in 2005, managed all the Trade Finance Products in the global product team at SCB. In 2006, Shiv joined Deutsche Bank as the Regional Trade Product Head for Asia Pacific where he was responsible for the development and execution of Trade Finance product strategy for Asia including developing, enhancing and managing products & capabilities. In 2009, he took on additional responsibility as the Global Product Head for Financial Supply Chain Solutions. In 2011, Shiv became the Regional Head for Deutsche Bank’s trade finance business in the Asia Pacific with responsibility for business strategy, product P&L and sales. Shiv holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India. He lives in Singapore with his wife and daughter, and enjoys golf, cricket and travelling.
