Having launched its 16th Annual Business Awards recently, the British Chamber of Commerce is inviting all Singapore registered companies to enter the Awards. The Chamber has been running the Annual Business Awards for over a decade, making 2015 the 16th Business Awards initiative it will be organising.

This year’s Awards has a special significance for us as we join Singapore in celebrating its 50 years of independence. Singapore’s vibrant business community has been instrumental in the nation’s economic progress. At the Chamber, we celebrate the quintessence of those who have contributed to the Singapore business landscape through the Annual Business Awards initiative.

When the Awards began, the Chamber wanted to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements across the various sectors where British businesses were active within the Singapore business community. Over the last 15 years the Annual Business Awards have expanded and evolved, supported and encouraged by sponsors, participants and winners. Today, the Awards focus on achievements that are Singapore-centric and are open to any Singapore registered company.

The Awards are supported by key organisations such as Singapore’s Economic Development Board, SPRING, Singapore Business Federation, UK Trade & Investment, European Chamber of Commerce, BBC and the Straits Times.

The British Chamber has strived to make this event a meaningful and successful competition. We can proudly say that we are the only international chamber in Singapore to organise an initiative that recognises outstanding achievements across all platforms and industry sectors in as many as eight different categories.

The energy and enthusiasm of successful businesses, prominent academics, business leaders and thought leaders coming together over the years is reward in itself for us, and we hope that you will take part to celebrate your business and your achievements. Take the chance to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Best of Businesses in Singapore! Hear from the winners of last year’s event.
