About the speaker:
Stephen Wood, born to a seafaring family, has spent most of the last 20 years on or around the water, from his first salvage aged 16, on his second trip as a trainee engineer, through reading Naval Architecture at university, to becoming a Salvage Master in 2007. He has been involved in over 40 salvages and wreck removals around the world.
Titan Salvage is a professional marine salvage company operating on a worldwide basis from our facilities in Florida (USA); Newhaven (England) and Singapore. We have under our belt some of the most innovative wreck removal projects to date and over the years have dealt with a broad spread of vessels and rigs in varying degrees of difficulty. Titan Salvage is owned by Crowley Maritime Corporation, a family owned company with one of the largest fleets of US flag tankers, barges, tugs and support vessels. The company has extensive experience supporting oil field exploration / operations in the US Gulf of Mexico, Alaska and Sakhalin. |
