This hands-on workshop will take you through the five steps needed to develop your own personal balanced scorecard. Using the Balanced Scorecard as a self-development tool is a proven method for you to create your own ongoing self-development plan. Remember those New Year’s resolutions? Well how about converting them into something simple that you can measure. As Peter Drucker famously said you can only manage what you can measure, so come and practice creating a vision for your development, and applying some simple measures for key activities that you wish to manage for your own growth and development. And in the process you will be practising the five basic steps of our Scores on the Board™ system.

What you will do:
-Create a compelling vision for your personal and professional growth
-Set clear goals for development in selected areas that you want to develop
-Create your own Executive Development Scorecard
-Keeping it very simple - Set metrics for just two of your goals
-Complete the Five-step performance development cycle
-Learn about role dependencies – others that depend on you (your ‘customers’) and those whom you depend on (‘your suppliers and stakeholders’)

What you will learn:
Through active participation, participants will gain experience of setting up their own personal executive scorecard. Through this experience participants will learn how to take charge of their own performance development they will learn about the ‘cycle of performance development’ and learn how to shift the focus of their scorecard metrics as their performance grows. Participants will learn how to overcome common blockages to performance measurement and development. From this fundamental basis they can consider how these methods can be applied to developing their leadership and their team’s performance.

About the speaker:
John has run a major Asia regional human capital development business since year 2000. Using methods introduced and implemented by John, one of his banking clients recently raised their employee engagement scores from 59% to 81% in under 12 months. With ten years consulting experience in Asia John has a wealth of experience focused on performance development to share with the audience. Some of the many clients John has been retained by in Asia include Banks, IT Companies, Industrial Organisations and Sales and Marketing companies. John has presented at over 20 international conferences globally since 1996.
