What you will learn: Following the meeting, attendees (Owners, charterers, etc.) who control movements and operation of ships will be in a position to make considered judgements as to which sites are best suited for their purposes, what type of strategy and or lay up is most appropriate for their need.
About the speaker: Geoff Hutcheon has been in the shipping industry all of his working life (43 years), initially as an apprentice in a British Ship Repair Yard, then as a Sea Going Engineer/Chief Engineer before moving into shore side employment as Technical Superintendent. In January 2000, Geoff Joined Graig Shipping as Project Manager for new building programmes in China and later Vietnam, then in March 2009 was tasked with opening a new office for Graig in Singapore.
