Richard, a Partner of EC Harris LLP, is Area Leader for the South East Asia EC Harris business. A Chartered Surveyor by professional discipline, Richard has been with EC Harris over seventeen years, including time in the UK, Europe, Middle East and most recently Asia. He led the growth of EC Harris in the Middle East before moving to Asia where he now has responsibility for the growth of the EC Harris business across South East Asia. Richard has extensive experience across a number of sectors including Lenders & Investors, CRE, Commercial and Aviation. He is on the Asia Regional Board for EC Harris and a member of the Singapore Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Adrian Canning - Lines N Curves Pte Ltd
Adrian is an Associate Project Director at Lines n Curves Pte Ltd responsible for managing and delivering projects from inception to completion. Lines n Curves provide Project Management and Design Consultancy Services, with our main focus on delivering Design & Build projects in the corporate office, hospitality and retail sectors within Singapore and South East Asia. Adrian graduated as a Building Surveyor, and now works as a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with over 10 years project management experience of which the past 4 years have been based in Singapore and before then in the UK. Adrian has worked on a number of high profile and complex projects in the UK, Singapore and Asia Pacific Region, in the Banking, Education and Government sectors.

Alistair Buchanan - 8Build Pte Ltd
Alistair Buchanan is a Project Manager with 8build Pte Ltd, originally trained as an architect he moved into Construction management early in his career. He has gained valuable experience across a broad number of sectors whilst working for 8build Ltd in London. Having spent the majority of his childhood in Asia, growing up in Hong Kong and later living/working in Singapore it was an easy decision to make when asked to relocate back to Singapore to help set up the new 8build office. 8build Pte Ltd operate in Singapore as a main contractor delivering commercial fit-out projects, they are looking to bring fresh ideas to an established market.

Andrew Tait - Fastrack Projects
As Contracts Director at Fastrack Projects Pte Ltd, Andrew oversees the daily operations of their design & construction management projects. Andrew has an extensive commercial knowledge of the market in Singapore gained over the last 14 years and a comprehensive appreciation of the design and construction life cycle. He is able to determine a project’s capital investments requirements early & accurately. Andrew has a wide ranging construction experience including Glyndebourne Opera House in the UK and Coca-Cola’s latest production facility in Singapore.

Andy Marr - 8Build Pte Ltd
Andy has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, 4 years of which in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Originally of QS background, in 2005 '8' close colleagues that he has worked with for over 10 years embarked to do something different by forming '8build' in London, a company set up to offer a unique solution for procuring and delivering construction projects with the intent to make a difference to an industry that needs fresh ideas. Now set up in Singapore, they are here delivering commercial office fit out projects throughout a number of sectors.

Aylwin Tan - Ascendas
Mr Aylwin Tan is Ascendas’ Chief Customer Solutions Officer, responsible for formulating and executing marketing and customer engagement strategies for the Ascendas Group, which is a leading developer of business space solutions in Singapore, India, China, Korea and Southeast Asia with more than 2,000 customers. He has over 20 years experience in industry cluster development and is a key member of the team that identifies and executes industry development strategies in partnership with the local governments of most cities that Ascendas invests in, so that these locations can be sustainable platforms for our customers to operate in.

Bill Gallagher - Gammon Pte Ltd
Bill was working in the UK before moving to Asia in 1989 and is currently the General Manager with Gammon Pte Ltd, a construction company which also provides project financing solutions. Since then he has lived at various times in Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore and has developed a deep understanding and appreciation of the business cultures in the different countries around Asia. His background is in all aspects of construction with specialisations in commercial, legal, dispute avoidance and resolution, cost management, project finance, risk management, insurance and corporate governance.

Chris Archibold - Jones Lang LaSalle
Chris Archibold is an International Director at Jones Lang LaSalle and is Head of the Office Agency team, he is responsible for the delivery of transactional and advisory services to our clients in Singapore. Chris is also a member of the Asia Pacific Markets Executive Committee. He is a Chartered surveyor with over 20 years experience of advising both occupier clients and developer / investor clients principally in Asia Pacific and in EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa). Chris has worked in Asia for over 13 years having lived in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Edward Barrow - Hongkong Land (Singapore) Pte Ltd
Since joining Hongkong Land in Sept 2004, Ed has held a varied number of roles in different parts of the property industry throughout Asia. Starting out in the asset management team in Hong Kong gaining valuable experience of the real estate market there as well the company’s core portfolio. He was then transferred to the joint venture, Colliers Halifax, in Japan for a further 4 years to work in the business development role for the residential fund, JRIC, and finally to Singapore last year where he has taken up the position as facilities manager. Ed was brought up in Hong Kong and has remained in Asia since.

Fook Hin YOU - Mott MacDonald Singapore Pte Ltd
Fook Hin YOU is the Managing Director of Mott MacDonald Singapore Pte Ltd. He has been with the company for over 20 years. Fook Hin graduated with BEng (Hons) from the National University of Singapore in 1986. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, UK. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Singapore. He is responsible for over 250 staff and the financial performance of all projects undertaken by the Group’s Singapore office. Fook Hin has extensive experience in advanced structural engineering projects over the planning, design, supervision and contract administration of heavy civil infrastructural works, underground metros and road tunnels.

Hugh Andrew - MGPA
Hugh Andrew is the Head of Asset Management covering non Japan Asia. In this role Hugh is responsible for asset management, leasing and marketing and property management of the Asia Portfolios. Hugh has over 25 years experience in Real Estate, the majority of which were spent in Asia. Prior to joining MGPA at the beginning of 2011 Hugh was the Chief Representative for Hongkong Land in India and before that he held a number of senior positions in Hong Kong both in the Asset and Property Management Divisions of Hongkong Land. Hugh has also worked as a service provider in Hong Kong with Vigers and First Pacific Davies and in London with Healey & Baker. Hugh has been an active member of Corenet Global and has held positions on the Asia Regional Council and the Global Board. He has recently been appointed an Emeritus Fellow of the RICS.

Jon Button - Gammon Pte. Limited
Jon Button is an Executive Director of Gammon and has been leading their Singapore office since 2001. He has a wide range of experience as a contractor in both building and civil engineering and has been resident in HK and Singapore for the last 30 years, prior to which he worked in the Middle East and the UK. Landmark projects that he has been involved in include the Headquarters of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank and the Bank of China in HK, the Bukit Panjang LRT, One Raffles Link, Chinatown MRT station, and ITE New College West, in addition to several commercial and industrial design and build projects in Singapore. He believes passionately in improving the standing of contractors in the industry and is instrumental in implementing Gammon’s drive to achieve Zero Harm in Singapore by 2012. Jon sits on the council of the Singapore Contractor’s Association where he is Chairman of the Productivity & Technology Committee and is also a Governor of Tanglin Trust School. He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering from Imperial College, London in 1974 and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Jonathan Mobbs - Faithful + Gould Pte. Limited
Jonathan is F+G’s Regional Director responsible for delivering and supervising the provision of Project Management services, including Employers Agent, Project Monitoring, Contract Administration, Building Surveying Due Diligence and Risk Management services to local and multi-national clients. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in project management at senior level having been responsible for leading the delivery of projects undertaken from inception to completion and handover and has worked with a wide range of clients from various business sectors including new build developments, commercial office, residential and data centres.

Julian Sedjwick - Savills (Singapore) Pte Ltd
Julian overseas and manages the International Residential Sales teams across Asia Pacific, based out of Singapore Julian works closely with his teams in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Kula Lumpur, Bangkok, Vietnam and Indonesia. He brings with him nearly thirteen years of real estate experience especially in Residential Sales and Development Consultancy in London, of which he worked for eight years. He worked closely with most of London’s main line developers to market new development projects in London and also into the Asian markets. Julian has nearly five years International Residential sales experience in Asia, working across the region in delivering prime residential projects to each of Savills key offices. Julian’s key task at Savills is to work closely with key offices throughout the region to assist developers in launching and marketing their projects across border providing them with a one stop solution. He will also work closely with Savills offices in the UK, USA and Australia to bring prime residential projects there to Asia.

Neil Walker - British High Commission Singapore
Neil Walker, Senior Trade & Investment Officer, British High Commission Singapore. As a member of UK Trade & Investment, my role is to support UK companies and help them grow their businesses internationally, working with Singaporean partners as required. My areas of responsibility include Infrastructure (including transport), Advanced Engineering, Defence and Security. Prior to arriving in Singapore in 2009 I managed UKTI Railway Sector Team from their Headquarters in London.

Russell Cole - Arup Singapore Pte. Ltd.
Russell has a background in façade and structural engineering and specialises in the design, assessment and construction of all types of façade systems for a broad range of buildings. He also has a strong interest in Building Physics and its application in hot climates. The projects he has undertaken cover a wide range and scope, from conceptual design and building physics studies, to providing sub-contractor's details. The areas of investigations and resolution of failing facades also form a large part of his work. In his career, which started in London, Russell had moved to Hong Kong and Sydney, before settling in Singapore. The Singapore operation is where Russell founded and runs the façade engineering and environmentally sustainable design (ESD) groups. His projects in Singapore, Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East, and past assignments in other markets where he had previously worked, have given him the breadth and depth of experience in building engineering throughout various markets.

Toby Dodd - Cushman & Wakefield Singapore
Toby Dodd is the Country Manager for Cushman & Wakefield Singapore, and leads the firm’s growth in across all service lines including Office/Industrial Leasing, Investment, Project Management and Valuation. He has managed a number of Cushman & Wakefield’s major client accounts across Asia Pacific including India and China, acting for international investors and tenants. His area of expertise includes valuation, investment acquisition and disposal and leasing. He is currently a board member for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Singapore.
