Chairman:
Henry Farahar - Logicalis Asia
As Sales Director of the Logicalis Asia UC Group, Henry is focused on utilizing and expanding the increased offering of the newly formed partnership between Touchbase, Netstar & Logicalis, and developing his company’s position as the largest, most profitable independent ICT Systems Integrator in Asia. Having completed his education at King’s College London and then cutting his sales teeth with some of the UK’s most prestigious media firms including Haymarket, Reed Elsevier and BBC Worldwide, Henry moved offshore in 2008. With experience across markets spanning through London, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, Henry’s focus is on the development of a high level, enterprise account base with many regional MNC’s and a particular focus and experience within the financial sector. A keen foodie, traveler and rather unpracticed hand at squash and golf, Henry is delighted to have taken the position of Chairman for the group and looks forward to working together with the committee and the chamber to make this one of the BCC’s most successful business forums.

Margaret Manning - Reading Room
Margaret Manning is CEO of Reading Room, currently UK’s top digital agency (Design Week 2010) and in the global Top Ten (Interactive Media Awards). With over 150 staff, Reading Room has offices in London, Singapore, Manchester, Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney. Margaret was voted Entrepreneur of the Year in EMEA at the 2009 International Stevie Awards in New York and was voted Female Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2008 Fast Growth Business awards. Margaret was also named one of the top 50 media people to watch in the “Courvoisier Future 500” in the Observer (Sunday 25th November 2007). In addition, Margaret was the winner in the Science & Technology section of the recent Lloyds TSB First Woman Awards and has been highly commended in the Credit Suisse – National Business Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year.

As the Business and Marketing Officer for Microsoft Asia Pacific, Andrew Pickup has three core roles: Business Leadership, Marketing Excellence and Operational Effectiveness. As part of his overall responsibilities, Andrew is responsible for driving the strategic integration of business, marketing and operational leadership across the region, aligning talent and resources to most effectively drive growth, win share, improve customer & partner satisfaction and spark innovation.

Tim Pullan - Taylor Vinters
Tim is an advisor to Taylor Vinters, the Cambridge and London based technology law firm, helping them grow their Technology and Outsourcing practice across Asia. He is also co-founder of specialist Asian software distribution boutique, PA Associates. Tim has 20 years of experience in the information technology field; as a developer, as a technology lawyer and as an executive with Experian in Europe and Asia. He's worked with MNCs on IT and data infrastructure projects in Asia for over 10 years. With expertise in infrastructure, privacy, analytics and software he takes a keen interest in the evolution of the cloud industry.

Hugh Smith - Economic Research Group
Hugh Smith is Director of Economic Research Group, a niche investigations and research company focussed onto providing timely and accurate information to its clients from a worldwide network of associates. Hugh is a specialist in all areas of Risk Management including physical security and crisis management. Following a successful career in the British Army he has over twenty five years of commercial experience working with companies to maximise their performance and minimise their risk. Economic Research Group’s associate and contact network stretches from Asia to Europe, the Middle East and Africa and its main clients include banks and law firms pursuing toxic debt.

Richard has worked within the ICT sector for over 12 years, gaining global expertise working from London, New York and now Singapore. Richard has previouls worked for systems integrators focused on collaborative technology, and is currently working at Cisco Systems, a leading global technology provider.

I have spent 20 years working in the field of outsourced services starting in the contract food and support services market and now in IT services. I currently manage the local operations and regional business development for FunctionEight, a regional IT services provider specialising in hardware and software support to businesses in Hong Kong and Singapore.
