SAVE THE DATE: GDPR and Why Marketers Should Make Privacy a Brand Asset

GDPR is an opportunity for brands to become more customer centric by treating their approach to privacy as a key brand differentiator to build trust and long term loyalty. Too many companies consider data protection as a compliance issue rather than as an opportunity to be open, honest and transparent with their customers.

Before the GDPR comes into full force on 25th May, this talk will explain the core aspects of the law that are relevant for the marketing sector. We will look at the sector's geographic scope, accountability, legitimate interest, consent and profiling. With plenty of insight from both the Marketing & Creative and Information & Communications Technology Business Groups, attendees will be offered top tips for what marketers can do now to become compliant. Chris Combemale, Group CEO of the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) will be dissecting DMA consumer attitudes to privacy research. More speakers will be joining the discussion, so stay tuned for updates!

Do register your interest if you want to find out what to do to become compliant, and why making privacy a brand asset is imperative to business success.
