Dr. Stephen Wyatt (Steve) is a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Leadership Consulting Practice, specialising in strategy and leadership development. Steve has worked extensively with both MNCs and Asia-based corporations on strategy planning and implementation in the region, as well as with government agencies and NGOs to address important national and social issues.

Steve has spent over 20 years of leadership consulting experience across the Asia Pacific market. He was previously Executive Director at Singapore Management University, where he led the executive and leadership development business.

Steve has a PhD in General Management (Strategy & Leadership), as well as a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Having grown up in the UK, Steve has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore, and has worked throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Joe is a young professional who has broad experience in retail, marketing, purchasing, advertising and business development. He currently works at the Professional Development Centre at the British Council supporting a range of clients with their learning and development needs in both the private and public sectors. He is also the diversity lead for the country heading up a team that organise events for staff as well as making sure that diversity is mainstreamed across the business. Joe has previously worked in Amsterdam and London.

British Theatre Playhouse
Cecilia Leong-Faulkner is the principal founder and Managing Director of the British Theatre Playhouse incorporated in Singapore with a branch office in London. She has worked with social causes and organises high profile charity gala events through the British Theatre Playhouse to help raise funds for the less fortunate and those in need.

Cecilia has worked in a cross-cultural environment having worked for American Express in Malaysia, Wembley Stadium PLC in the UK and the luxury Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts based in Singapore. After leaving the Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, she started her Marketing and PR consulting firm in 1998 and since, worked as a consultant for various clients including the Six Senses Resorts & Spas and on fashion events with the Singapore Tourism Board.

She brings perspectives from both consulting and corporate HR - with more than 16 years’ experience over consulting, talent management and leadership, employee engagement, organizational development and strategic HR business partnering in MNCs and the government sector. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, she was the Vice President of HR in Volvo Trucks Sales (Asia Oceania), playing a strategic role in shaping the people and talent agenda. She has worked in both Singapore and Hong Kong and managed consulting projects across Asia while working with Hewitt Associates. She is also a trained CTI Co-Active Coach, ICF member, and currently pursuing CPCC certification (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach).

David has over 16 years global experience in Management Consulting, Sales and Marketing, having previously worked with leading firms such as ICI and Accenture, before joining PwC.

Kate is Head of Brunswick Singapore, the leading global corporate reputation and communications consultancy. She is responsible for the development of the firm’s Southeast Asia practice and chairs the Brunswick’s regional talent committee in Asia. Kate advises leading international and regional corporates on reputation building and protection, including crisis preparedness and response as well as on major mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. In Southeast Asia her focus has been on helping clients devise and implement communication and stakeholder engagement programmes to support market entry strategies, capital raisings and business transformation. Before joining Brunswick, Kate spent six years in corporate finance at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson where she worked on a number of capital market transactions including flotations, mergers and recommended offers and hostile offers. Kate joined the British Diplomatic Service and served as at the British Embassy in Ankara after graduating with a First class degree in Physics from Keble College, Oxford University.

Christopher Short has been the Principal of Dover Court International School since August 2016 having moved to Singapore from Vietnam, where he helped found the British International School, Hanoi. Prior to this he was a Headteacher in Dubai and on Ascension Island in the South Atlantic. In these countries and territories Chris has had to work creatively to ensure not only his own continued professional development but also those of this teams. Dhirendra has over 35 years’ experience in Recruitment and Talent Management. In 2000, he led the strategic integration of Business Trends with Kelly Services. At Kelly Services, Dhirendra was the Senior Vice President and a member of the global leadership team. He was responsible for the company’s Asia-Pacific operations that spanned 12 countries and territories. Under his leadership, Kelly expanded to 85 offices across the region, with a strong presence in India and China. He also managed Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico as well as Europe during his tenure at Kelly Services. As an active member of the community, Dhirendra was one of the key founding members of the Singapore Staffing Association when it was established in 1989, and served as its president. Currently he is the Co-Chairman of APSCo Asia which is a chapter of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies UK and which recently merged with the Singapore Professional Recruitment Organisation (SPRO). In addition, he continues to serve on numerous human resource committees providing ideas and thought leadership on global workforce and talent management issues.

Terry Kisling comes from the United States and has been living in the Asia region since October 2011, having worked in South Korea and now in Singapore. As a manager of both educational and corporate systems, Terry presently holds the position as Vice Principal and Education and Career Guidance Manager in Furen International School. Terry specializes in preparing students from O and A level courses relating to topics from in International Etiquette to transit from high school to University setting. At the same time, because he is also qualified by TESOL’s Leadership Management training, he helps in coaching and training teachers to educate students with premium lessons in the classroom. In Southeast Asia his focus has been on helping educational institutes provide quality educational and engaging programmes, to support a strong business transformation. Terry aims to teach, inspire and help others succeed personally and professionally, in educational needs and overall personal well-being.
