Ashley Jones
The Fry Group
Ashley joined the Financial Services Business Group in 2012 and was appointed Chairperson in 2016. Prior to this Ashley was also appointed the Treasurer for the St David’s Society of Singapore for two years between 2012 and 2014.

Ashley has more than ten years experience, in financial planning and holds the required qualifications in Singapore to operate as a fully licensed financial adviser representative with The Fry Group in Singapore. His expertise is centred on the UK financial planning environment with the majority of advice relating to retirement planning, UK tax structuring, investment management and insurance based advice.

The Fry Group endorse a high level of professional expertise and in line with this Ashley is attaining the final credits to acquire Chartered Financial Planner status in the coming year or so with the longer term aspiration to hold a Fellowship with the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK.
Nick Barlow
Nick is a 38 year-old British Citizen currently employed as a Director within KPMG Singapore’s Financial Services Consulting team, focusing on capital markets clients across South-East Asia. Nick has 17 years of financial services experience spanning investment banking, hedge funds and capital markets consulting in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Ben joined M&G in 2009 as a Partnerships Development Director dealing with the UK's Life Company, Platform and Advisory community. In this role he also covered the Middle East and Asia in association with the firm’s various International Life company partners.

Over the last 10 years Ben has occupied similar roles in Henderson Global Investors, New Star and Skandia, where he worked in the fund selection team. In 2013, Ben joined M&G Asia's Singapore office as the Head of Intermediary Channels, Asia Pacific, overseeing the group’s footprint across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Dubai.

Ben has a BA in Business Studies, specialising in Finance from Bournemouth University.

Piers moved to Singapore in January 2018 to head up Business Development in APAC for MSTS, a Fintech company within World Fuel Services. Previously Piers headed up market entry into Africa across the World Fuels portfolio of solutions. Prior to World Fuels, Piers was Managing Director of Dascam Consulting, a defence and security consultancy based in Abu Dhabi, including leading the company through their acquisition by Ultra Electronics in 2008, following an 8 year spell in the British Army as an infantry officer. Piers is a graduate of Durham University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

A seasoned professional with 14 years of banking and financial services experience, Jennifer joined HSBC in 2013 with extensive experience in managing product portfolios and developing bespoke solutions for corporate and institutional clients. Based in Singapore, she is responsible for the longer term direction and strategy of the innovation capabilities of the GLCM business to ensure that it meets and exceeds clients’ needs. Prior to joining HSBC, Jennifer held a number of product related roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Paul Landless is a partner in our Singapore office who specialises in structured finance, derivatives and financial markets products, including securitisations, repackagings, structured notes, securities lending and repo. He leads the financial markets team in Singapore and South East Asia. He also has extensive experience in various types of structured transactions, including in relation to commodities trading, and he regularly advises on global and local financial market regulatory developments and financial market infrastructure. He is also a member of the firm's Brexit Markets Group and recently has been very active with FinTech developments in Singapore.

During his time at Tullett Prebon Information Rhys attained the CFA designation, completed his first marathon and became a father of two.

Chao Yong has been with United Overseas Bank (Singapore) since 2007. He is currently with the Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”) Advisory unit. Prior to this, Chao Yong was with Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi-UFJ Ltd, handling a portfolio of Multinational Companies operating in Asia.
